Calcium Silicate Fire Protection Boards
Promat H & Promat L boards provide exceptional fire protection to exposed steel columns and beams.
Promat H and Promat L are high quality calcium silicate cement boards that are UL Listed for up to 3 hours fire protection of steel columns and beams as well several types of non-load bearing wall assemblies. The boards have also been tested in accordance with internationally recognized standards and have been approved for use in many assemblies by local Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJ’s).
Promat H is a medium density board with a standard size of 1250mm x 2500mm that is stocked in the following thicknesses: 9mm, 12mm, 15mm, 20mm, and 25 mm (3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4”, 1”).
Promat L is a lighter density board with a standard board size of 1200mm x 2500mm, that is stocked in a 30mm (1 1/4”) thickness.
Combining both fire protection and structural stability, Promat H and Promat L are the products of choice for architects and engineers when difficult fire protection problems require creative solutions.
